The Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) is a comprehensive four-year undergraduate degree designed to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of Information Technology. BIT program prepares graduates for dynamic roles in the IT industry.

Eligibility

10+2 or equivalent level in science, management, or any relevant stream, securing at least 45% aggregate marks or a minimum GPA of 2.0, and must have studied Mathematics (100 marks) with at least a D+ grade.

Evaluation System

The evaluation system in the BIT program is based on a combination of internal and external assessments, where internal evaluations (such as class tests, assignments, and project work) typically carry a 40% weight, and final university examinations carry 60%.

Internship

Students must also participate in a mandatory internship, generally conducted in the final year to apply their theoretical knowledge in a practical setting.
